This film was created as an homage to Robert Badinter. It tells the story of a man sentenced to death, and two lawyers who, as a last resort, go to the Élysée Palace to seek a presidential pardon that could overturn the sentence.
As the Chef Décorateur, I faced the challenge of recreating a presidential office that felt authentic. We had the unique opportunity to film inside the government palace, a military basement, and a prison.
I deeply believe in the power of cinema as a vehicle for justice, and it was truly moving to be part of this journey.
